- Story
It is the 16th century. A time of great turmoil. The once peaceful province of Yamato is in disrepair and rumours of a vast gang of dangerous bandits are said to roam the area, stealing from innocent victims and killing them in the process. Their latest victim is, however, a little different... a shrine maiden.
Assume the role of a guardian spirit in search of divine retribution. Exact revenge on those who took your life by eliminating them and decide a new fate for yourself and the land.
- Inhabit any one of the gang members to defeat your enemies
- Unique controls let you switch characters when you want
- Experiment with the three hosts types to suit your playing style
- Gameplay
You start the game as the orb, and you have a life force which is slowly draining away. Hover over an enemy and press the attack/possess button to posses them. Then as that enemy rampage about the level killing other enemies.
You can kill your host at any time and fly off to find a new host, but keep an eye on the orb energy at the top left, when that's gone it's game over.

Hi everyone, we hope you are enjoying playing the game, I wanted to leave a quick comment to highlight the end of the game description where it says "Continue until all enemies are dead".
We did have an ending planned for the game, but didn't have time to implement it before submission, so once all enemies are dead, nothing will happen (it's not a bug, it's a feature! haha) at that point just press Q to quit.
A very retro feel! The action is smooth and fun, but ranged is definitely the way to go!
Thanks very much for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yes we love the pixel look of the game, inspired by the likes of Shinobi on the Mega Drive, and Tenchu on the PS1.
Ranged is definitely the best yes. However, Ronin with the sword has a stronger attack and can swipe the throwing stars out of the air.
Oni, the big guy, can also knock them away with his club, but he's very slow.
If we had more time we would have balanced all 3 of them better, and set up the level in such a way where all 3 of them feel as strong and useful as each other.
Thanks again for your feedback.
